GymBro Support

Questions, problems, or feedback — email gymbroappcompany@gmail.com. We aim to reply within two business days.

Reporting a bug? Include your iOS version, your iPhone model, and what you were doing when it happened. That usually turns a week of back-and-forth into one reply.

Frequently asked

How do I cancel my GymBro Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so only Apple can cancel them. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, select GymBro and choose Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and neither does deleting your GymBro account. Cancel through Settings first.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple and we cannot issue them directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I paid but Pro features are still locked

Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases. If that does not work, check you are signed in to the same Apple ID that made the purchase, and that you are signed in to the same GymBro account. If it still will not unlock, email us with the date of purchase.

Will I lose my workouts if I change phones?

On the free plan, yes. Free accounts store everything on the device only — there is no cloud backup, and data cannot move to another phone. If you delete the app or lose the device, that history is gone.

Cloud backup and multi-device sync are GymBro Pro features. If you are moving to a new phone and want to keep your training history, subscribe before you wipe the old device.

How do I delete my account and my data?

In the app open Settings and tap Delete GymBro Account. This permanently deletes your account and everything stored in the cloud, and clears the data on your device. It cannot be undone.

Remember to cancel an active subscription separately, through Apple.

Why is it telling me to rest?

GymBro tracks volume over a rolling 14-day window and schedules recovery deliberately. If you have trained several days in a row, or trained a muscle group heavily and recently, it will recommend rest or a different group. You can still log whatever you like — the recommendation is guidance, not a lock.

Is GymBro medical advice?

No. GymBro is a fitness tool, not a medical device, and its suggestions are generated from general training research and your own logged history. It cannot know about injuries, medical conditions, or anything else about your health. Consult a qualified physician or trainer before starting or changing a training programme. See the Terms of Use for the full position.
